Drop in parent, baby and toddler groups run weekly on Thursdays during term time 1.30-3pm at Community Vision Children and Family Centre, in Penge.

The group provides a forum for parents of a child with Visual Impairment to meet together in a relaxed and friendly environment. The session consists of free playtime as well as activities that are specially tailored for a child with a Visual Impairment.  Advice on how to encourage and support your child is offered at the group and it is hoped that parents will form supportive links and friendship with other parents going through similar situations.

Our Drop in Support Worker, works with children aged 0-5 years at parent & toddler groups to help them reach key childhood development milestones and allow them to make the most of the sight they have, giving them the best possible start in life.

Our early years support can help with the support and development children need through their early years, preparing them for school and a life of aspiration and potential.

If you know of any families that would benefit from this group, please let them know. Families do not need to book they can just drop in.
