About the event
Bromley is seeking to develop and improve services which will assist parents and carers in supporting their children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Working with parents in service planning is important in ensuring services meet the needs of families. The London Borough of Bromley (LBB) and Bromley Parent Voice (BPV) have organised three parent focus groups to be held across the Borough for parents who currently access support from LBB and those who do not, to contribute their views on the following:
- Developing Bromley’s Short Breaks offer
- ‘Pooling’ Personal Budgets
- Support for managing behaviour that challenges
- Support for sleep deprivation
- Social needs self-assessment (Social Care Innovation Fund)
