Are you a parent / carer of someone with a learning disability? Bromley Local Authority and Bromley Clinical Commissioning Group (BCCG) are working on a new plan for people with learning disabilities. They think that the best way to start is to listen to the people who the plan is designed to help so that whatever is in the plan, is right for those people first and foremost.
Richard works for Ideas Alliance and he has been invited to go out and meet people and listen to what matters to them in their daily lives, what is helping them manage and who they turn to when they need help. Richard is meeting all sorts of people – young, old, parents and carers – anyone who will be affected by the learning disability plan. The stories he hears will be fed back to the Local Authority and BCCG and will help them to shape the services and support that will be available in the future.
If you are a carer, we would like to invite you to attend a workshop to hear what matters to you.
The meeting will take place at Bromley Baptist Church, Park Road, Bromley BR1 3HJ, on Tuesday 16th July from 11am to 1pm with a free buffet lunch afterwards.
The spaces for this event are limited so please book your place now by completing the below booking form or telephone 07803 287838.
