About the event
To give all parents the opportunity to attend a similar session that was held last month, I am writing to invite you to the Friends and Family Forum on the 17th June 2014 at Riverside School, Hayne Road, Beckenham, BR3 4HY. The forum will start at 10am and will finish at around 11.30. Our guest speaker this month will be Gill Needham (Head of 6th @ Riverside) who will be talking about:
“Transition”
She will be discussing and sharing information about the types of transitional services and support available to families of young people with disabilities. Pelin Ahmet – Information Officer (Disabled Children’s Team) and Lisa Mason who works at Riverside School (St. Pauls Cray) will help to facilitate the group.
Refreshments will be provided and a crèche will be available (must be booked prior to attendance), if parents require this facility. The sessions are usually very informative, yet informal and everyone is welcome.
